Q. How do I change my email address?
1. Log in to your OnMyBloq account at www.onmybloq.com with your current email address or nickname and password.
2. Once you are logged in, click “Settings” this will now give you the option to change your email address. For security reasons, we require your password to change your email address.
3. Be sure to click the "Submit" bottom to save your changes.
4. A confirmation email will be sent to your new email address to confirm your change has been initiated.

Q. How do I change my password?
1. Log in to your OnMyBloq account at www.onmybloq.com with your current email address or nickname and password.
2. Once you are logged in, click "Settings" and then click the Password Tab.
3. After you have hit the Password Tab, select “Reset Password”. For security reasons, we require your current password and a new password to complete changes.
4. Be sure to click the "Submit" bottom to save your changes.
5. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address to confirm your password has been changed.

Q. Forgot my password
In the event you lose or forget your password, use the “Forgot Your Password” link on the log in page. You will be asked to enter the original email address used to register with OnMyBloq. Once you’ve entered your email address, hit the submit button and your password along with instructions will be immediately forwarded to your email address.

Q. How do I set my profile to private?
To set your profile to private, simply hit the settings tab, then contact settings and select “Who can view my profile”. As a member you can also choose what profile information is shared with others by simply hitting the “edit” buttons found in your profile section.

Q. How do I choose the information I share with my friends?
To set the amount of information you share with your friends, simply click on My Profile. Once you are in your profile section, select the edit buttons to choose the desired information you wish to share with your friends.

Q. Where do I find my notification options?

Your notification options can be found by clicking on the settings tab, then click contact settings and choose the type of notifications you would like to receive from friends.

Q. How do I deactivate my account?
1. Log into your OnMyBloq account at on www.onmybloq.com with your current email address or nickname and password.
2. Go to “Settings” and hit deactivate. You will no longer be connected to the OnMyBloq network until you choose to reactivate your account.

Q. How do I reactivate my account?
If you choose to deactivate your account, you will be notified by email confirming your account has been deactivated. This email will also contain the reactivation link to OnMyBloq. Should you accidently delete this email, please contact OnMyBloq to have your account reactivated.

Q. How do I rate my friends?
Click on the friend you would like to rate in your friends list, this will now bring up their profile information. Under their profile photo, click on the icon labeled “Rate This Member”. You will be directed to the rating section for that member. You can now rate that member between 1-5 by clicking on the rating bar for each category.

Q. How often can I rate my friends?
There are no limits to the amount of times your friends can be rated.

Q. How do I request to be rated?
Simply go to your friends list and choose the friend you wish to have rate you and click “Request to Be Rated”. A notification will be sent to that friend informing them you wish to be rated.

Q. How do I see what rating I’ve given to my friends?
Simply go to your friends list and choose the friend whose rating you wish to see and click “My Rating for Friend”.

Q. How do I see what rating I have received from my friends?
Simply go to your friends list and click on their avatar image then select “Members Rating for You”.

Q. Can anyone rate me?
No. Only confirmed friends will be allowed to rate you.

Q. Can I rate myself?
No.

Q. How do I block /unblock friend?
To block or remove a person from your friends list, simply click on that persons profile and hit block/unblock friend.

Q. What is a door post?
A door post is a quick way of sending an instant message to people on your friends list. Your door post uses the same features as word processing program. So you can edit your text, add graphs and post your favorite photos and images.

Q. Why do I have to wait thirty seconds to make another door post?
This is to prevent spamming on your door post.

Q. How do I delete a door post?
Find the desired door post you wish to remove and hit the delete tab located on the right hand side of the door post area.

Q. How do I edit my avatar photo?
Simply click on the “My Profile” tab located at the top left hand side of any page. Underneath
the displayed avatar click “Edit Avatar” or click the words “Edit Avatar” where ever it is
displayed.

Now hit the “Browse” tab to select the photo or image you want to upload from your hard drive
or portable device, enter a description and hit submit.

Once you have uploaded more than two avatar images, they will be saved into your profile. To
switch between your avatar images just select an image and hit make primary.

Q. How do I send an email?
Emails can be sent internally to everyone on your friends list (address book) or to an external email address. Simply click the words “My Mail” where ever it is displayed to access your email settings. Once you are in your email settings you can now read, compose or delete your emails.

Q. How do I delete my sent items?
Emails that are sent using OnMyBloq will automatically be deleted once the intended recipient has read the message and has deleted from their inbox.

Q. How do I upload photos/videos/music?
Simply click the words “My Photos, My Videos or View Profile Music” where ever they are displayed to access your photo, video and music settings. Hit “upload photos/videos/music” and use the “Browse” tab to select the photo/video/music you want to upload from your hard drive or portable device, enter a description and hit upload.

Q. How do I delete photos/videos/music?
Simply go to your photo/video/music settings and select the item you would like to remove and hit delete.

Q. How do I Bloq Blog?
Simply click the words “Bloq Blog” where ever they are displayed to access your blogging settings. Once you are in your Bloq Blog settings you can compose your Bloq Blog by hitting the add blog button. Your Bloq Blog can be edited, deleted, categorized and can be made available for public or private viewing all within your Bloq Blog settings.

Q. How do I add an event?
Simply click the words “View Events” where ever it is displayed to access your events settings.
Once you are in your “Events” settings you can add an event by hitting the add event button. Your “Events” can be edited and deleted all within your “Events” settings. To view all upcoming events simply hit the “Calendar” tab in the events settings and search by a variety of criteria’s.

Q. How do I add a poll?
Simply click the words “View Polls” where ever it is displayed to access your polls settings.
Once you are in your “Polls” settings you can create a poll by hitting the add poll button. Your “Polls” can be edited and deleted all within your “Polls” settings. To view all the polls you have created, simply hit the “My Polls” tab in the polls setting.

Q. What is my special day clock?
When your OnMyBloq special day clock reaches zero, you will…… Sorry, if we told you what was so special about that day it would no longer be special. However, it is definitely worth the wait. Mark this day on all your calendars!

Q. Can my special day clock be turned off?
No.

Q. Can I turn off my life clock?
Yes. To do so, go to “My Profile” and hit the first “edit” button located in the top right hand corner and select show/hide life clock.

Q. Can I change my name?
Yes. All name change requests must be submitted to OnMyBloq through the contact us section, which is subject to verification prior to completing any changes.

Q. How do I move on to a better Bloq?
The more you interact with OnMyBloq the better your Bloq rating becomes. The better your Bloq rating becomes, the more your social status increases. Therefore, rate your friends, post images, request ratings, invite friends, do surveys, participate in polls and have fun.

Q. How do I report inappropriate behavior or abuse?
To report inappropriate behavior or abuse, please go to the contact us page and hit the abuse tab in the drop down menu and give a detailed report of the abuse. If you’re reporting an inappropriate photo, video or audio recording, simply open the item in question and hit the report button. OnMyBloq will review the content to determine if any inappropriate wrong doing was committed.

Q. What happens when I report an abuse?
All reports of abuse are kept confidential. OnMyBloq will review all cases to decide what actions are to be taken. Content deemed inappropriate will be removed. All members who continually violate the OnMyBloq user agreement will have their account deactivated and/or blacklisted.
